Job Description Job Title: Caregiver / Home Care Aide Reports To: Care Coordinator / Agency Administrator Location: Client’s Home / Assigned Location Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to provide non-medical home care services to seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a caregiver with God’s Sitting Partners Home Care, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities: • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene, • Provide companionship and emotional support, • Assist with mobility and transfers, including use of assistive devices, • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs, • Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc.), • Remind clients to take medications (no medication administration), • Provide transportation or run errands as needed (if applicable), • Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior, • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided Qualifications: • Prior caregiving experience preferred (formal or informal), • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for the role), • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to work independently and follow care plans Desired Attributes: • Compassionate and patient demeanor, • Dependable and punctual, • Respectful of client privacy and confidentiality, • Flexible schedule and availability for various shifts Working Conditions: • In-home environment with possible exposure to pets, smoke, or allergens, • May require standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), or assisting with transfers #hc183570
