We’re seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to guide prospective clients through the process of working with our firm. In this role, you’ll meet with individuals and families facing immigration challenges, listen to their stories, and help them take the next step toward resolving their case. We believe sales is a service, helping people understand their options so they can move forward with confidence. Benefits • Base pay: $60,000/year, plus upside performance bonuses (OTE $80,000–$107,000), • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision), • Paid time off (PTO) + paid holidays, • Paid sick time, • Paid training and ongoing coaching Compensation: $60,000 base + bonus Responsibilities: • Respond to inbound leads and conduct consultations by video or in person at our office, • Understand each prospective client’s immigration situation, goals, and concerns, • Help prospects understand their options and guide them toward confident decisions, • Take ownership of helping every consultation move toward a clear outcome: engagement, follow-up, or a respectful no, • Follow up consistently with prospects who haven’t yet committed, • Facilitate a professional handoff to the legal team, • Maintain accurate, detailed records in the firm’s CRM system, • Complete client care calls and follow-ups (post-consultation and post-engagement) to ensure satisfaction and uncover new needs, • Track your own performance metrics and continuously refine your skills through training, coaching, and feedback You do not provide legal advice. You guide families through the decision process, ethically and with the support of the legal team. Qualifications: Who Thrives Here You bring 3–5+ years of consultative, relationship-driven sales. Relevant backgrounds include: • Professional services or financial services sales, • Insurance or benefits advisory, • Social services, case management, or community advocacy, • High-value client engagement in any mission-aligned field But more important than your background is your mindset. You understand that the people calling us are not just “leads.” They are parents, spouses, students, and workers who need someone to take their situation seriously and help them take action. You bring emotional intelligence to every conversation. You listen before you speak. You guide without pressure. You also bring discipline. You embrace metrics, follow-up systems, and accountability. You treat your pipeline like a professional and take ownership of your results, good and bad. What We’re Looking For • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (listening, speaking, and writing), • Comfortable speaking with people who may be emotional, overwhelmed, or afraid, • Able to work a hybrid schedule within business hours, including in-office consult coverage in Escondido (primarily afternoons; occasional mornings), • Kind, patient, and non-judgmental communication style, • Able to calmly guide conversations and explain next steps clearly, • Careful and accurate with details, notes, and data entry, • Comfortable discussing money and fees in a clear, respectful way, • Takes responsibility for helping calls move toward a clear outcome, • Open to coaching, feedback, and ongoing learning, • Reliable, professional, and respectful of confidentiality, • Resilient.
