Job Description CTR Group is seeking a Facilities Coordinator for a Shipbuilder in the Seattle, WA area. Pay Range: $25.34 - $31.68 per Hour with Benefits SUMMARY: We are currently in search of a candidate to fill a Facilities Coordinator position in our Facilities Maintenance department. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and improvements to the facility and its associated equipment. Duties include but are not limited to scheduling preventative maintenance tasks, reacting to maintenance emergencies, and duties assigned by the Facilities Manager. Minimum Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent., • Trade school or work experience in at least two separate building trades, • Complies with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Policies and Procedures, • Demonstrates the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior, putting the company values and commitments at the forefront of decisions and actions., • Fosters openness and early detection of possible ethics, compliance, and contractual issues to support early intervention of nonconformities and/or compliance violations., • Fulfills all training and development activities in accordance with designated deadlines., • Performs thread, solder, glue and assemble piping systems and other plumbing tasks as required., • Performs cement work to include forming, mixing, pouring, and finishing of concrete., • Performs preventive maintenance on facilities equipment., • Performs daily inspections on various facility systems and equipment., • Maintains landscaping throughout the facility., • Performs other related duties as assigned., • Must have excellent written and oral skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels of the workforce., • Must be able to acquire an OSHA 10 Hour Card of NAVSEA or approved equivalent., • Must be capable of performing varying tasks during the day., • Must be able to work with minimal supervision., • Must be courteous in dealing with the workforce, military, government personnel, and the public., • Must be able to give directions to employees from various departments assisting on facility projects, • US Citizen required, • Must be available all shifts Physical Requirements • May be exposed to fumes, irritants, laser light, toxic chemicals, and potential electrical shock in an industrial or shipboard environment., • May involve gathering data while observing rotating or operating machinery., • Frequently moves throughout the yard., • Must be able to maneuver ascend and descend stairs/ladders/ramps located inside various ships., • Ability to move more than 40 lbs., • May be exposed to rapid changes in microclimates, industrial processes, and other environmental factors while collecting data, providing direction, and observing performance of task teams.
