Job Description:\n\nPOSITION LOCATION: Fort Morgan, CO EMPLOYMENT SPECIFICS: Full-Time (Exempt-Administrative 260 days), 1.0FTE PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB: Under the direction of the Vice President of Instruction or their Dean designee, the Instructional Coordinator provides coordination, leadership, and support to the assigned instructional division, including service to Faculty, Instructors, and Dean through a variety of general and specific duties required by the needs of the instructional division assigned (i.e., Career and Technical Education, General Education, or Health Sciences divisions). The Instructional Coordinator shall be responsible for development, analysis, and evaluation of processes to ensure efficiency and compliance within the instructional division. This position facilitates communication between the Instructional Office and the other areas of the college. The Instructional Coordinator will support Faculty Load and Compensation (FLAC), including reconciliation with the course schedule, course and room scheduling, college catalog updates, process course faculty/instructor evaluations, assist with assessment, and conduct project and/or event management as assigned by the supervisor. This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours, and occasional travel may be necessary. The Instructional Coordinator shall embrace and fully demonstrate the college's guiding principles of integrity, respect, open and honest communication, and collaboration. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Demonstrates initiative for and manages the daily operation of the Instructional Office in collaboration with the Vice President of Instruction and/or their Dean designee. Includes participation in the development, maintenance, analysis, and evaluation of instructional processes to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service, and compliance. (20%)Provides administrative support to Vice President of Instruction, Deans, and Directors, including creating and maintaining calendars, spreadsheets, and gathering and tracking detailed information about students, faculty and instructors, documenting attendance and minutes at meetings, and troubleshooting a wide variety of issues daily. (20%)Coordinates and provides support services for faculty and instructors including assistance with onboarding, supply orders, resource access, room assignments, file establishment and maintenance. (4%)Participates in the FLAC process, including generation of contracts in FLAC and reconciliation of course schedule to FLAC contracts. (10%)Facilitates communication between the Instructional Office and other college departments and personnel. (1%) Collaborates with Division Chairs, Deans, and College Store Manager to ensure all deadlines for textbook selection and accurate data is entered using the automated book selection process, while maintaining an accurate textbook list. (2%)Work with Deans and VPI on credentials of faculty and instructors and maintains that information for state and/or accreditation reporting purposes. Maintain and verify CTE credentialing records and inform Vice President of Instruction of any issues; assist in data collection of Perkins required information such as Student Follow Up report. (2%) Responsible for division specific software and related communication. (2%)Maintain P-card and Travel card records. (2%) In collaboration with the Deans, Vice President of Instruction and Registrar, manages the creation and maintenance of the content of the college catalog based on curriculum decisions approved by the VPI. Ensure accuracy of course information in Banner. Collect, verify and file course syllabi and inform Dean and/or Vice President of Instruction of any issues. (2%)Perform duties specific to the needs of the assigned division, up to and including: (30%)Administrative support to the Adult and Secondary Transitions program, entering and tracking student data.Provide assistance with specialized admissions processes. Coordinate clinical placements for Health Sciences programs and ensure student and instructor compliance with all clinical regulations, such as drug screens and immunization records. Serve as the liaison between clinical partners and Health Sciences programs. Provide maintenance and technical support for simulation equipment, which may include preparation for simulations, equipment maintenance and repair, and educating others about simulation technology. Provide oversight of Health Sciences laboratory classrooms, which may include scheduling, staging, and inventory. Support assessment software management, support badging credential software, support and report in drug screen software and support of additional software platforms as necessary.Monitor Colorado online course assignments to build class schedules Other duties as assigned by the Dean or VPI.Other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including serving on college committees. (3%)Based on the functions, this position is identified as a Campus Security Authority. As a Campus Security Authority, the incumbent in this position is required to report allegations of Clery Act crimes that they become aware of to the Vice President of Student Services at Morgan Community College. Ability to work effectively and independently with diverse groups of people. Proficient in MS Office suite. Ability to use other software, such as Banner.Effective oral and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to work with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties. Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to work occasional long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends necessitated by special projects, compliance with deadlines, length of institutional day and week, and committee service.Ability to travel occasionally as necessary to perform job duties. Experience in a higher education, specifically the community college setting.Experience with Banner software. Anticipated Start Date: September 2025 Salary and Benefits: $44,178 - $50,804, based on education, skills and experience.
