The Construction Estimator is responsible for cost-estimating commercial construction projects within all our market sectors, including conceptual budgeting and hard bid proposals. Manage the entire pre-construction and bidding process from conception to award turnover. Our client is a Commercial General Contracting and Construction Management firm serving the greater New England area. Our client specializes in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and tenant-occupied renovations in the Retail, Restaurant, Corporate, and Commercial market sectors. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional self-motivation, a solid construction background, and strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills. Job Description: Position Summary: Conducts rounds of assigned areas on foot to ensure a safe and secure environment and to check for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons, and or safety/fire hazards. Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to the Security Supervisor on duty or Assistant Manager, Security. Responds to emergency situations and requests for security assistance as needed in the facility and on grounds. Assists local, federal and state law enforcement agencies as necessary. Provides support as needed for emergency situations involving medical staff.
