American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in St. Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Work in a short-term acute care hospital with a large teaching and Level 1 trauma environment, • MRI department utilizes Siemens Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, and Vida scanners, • Handles both inpatient and outpatient cases, including ER, trauma, ICU, NICU, and adult patients, • Schedule is 5x8-hour mid shifts (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM), with one Saturday per month and holiday rotation as needed, • No on-call required, • Floating within service line, may support Ambulatory Cancer Center or CAM, but will not float to sister facilities, • Uses Epic EMR (Epic experience highly preferred), • Must live at least 75 miles from the facility; locals not accepted, • Primary responsibilities include performing MRI scans across a diverse patient population with various protocols and body regions, • May be required to work both inpatient and outpatient, including ER and critical care settings, • First-time travelers are accepted, • No call required, but rotating holiday and occasional Saturday coverage are expected, • Scrub color is black, • Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing or candidates must be willing to shave for testing, • No RTO allowed during the first week of assignment and RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract, • Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler to this facility or system, • Travelers can stay for up to 12 months with a required 6-month break before returning\n \n Requirements\n, • Current ARRT MR certification required, • At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience required, • Siemens MRI equipment experience required, • BLS certification required, • Experience preferred in abdominal, pelvic, neuro, thoracic, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, diffusion, gradient echo, post-processing, MIP/MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, spin echo, T1/T2 weighted imaging, surface coil use, • IV start and PACS experience preferred, • Epic charting experience preferred, • State license required if applicable, • Valid state license required at time of consideration; pending state license accepted for certain locations\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
