Job Description About the Role We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead our U.S. manufacturing facility, which includes production - a full-service machinery workshop, paint shop and assembly operation, warehousing, quality, and maintenance operations. The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant. This role ensures that production targets, quality standards, and customer commitments are met while continuously improving plant efficiency. The Plant Manager will work closely with various departments to review backlogs, align production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery of products. This is a pivotal leadership role for a proven manufacturing professional who can stabilize performance, improve on-time delivery, and revitalize safety and culture. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership • Lead daily operations across production, machinery workshops, warehousing, quality, and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time performance., • Provide visible, hands-on leadership—actively engaging with supervisors and production teams to solve problems and set priorities., • Coordinate production planning and resource alignment with U.S. and overseas (Greece, Slovenia) facilities to maximize efficiency and economies of scale., • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization., • Build an agile organizational culture, empowering teams to adapt quickly to market, customer, and operational changes., • Develop and track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, ensuring transparency and accountability., • Champions a safety-first mindset across all levels of the organization; ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and corporate standards., • Lead ongoing facility and safety upgrades to align with modern industrial and regulatory requirements., • Build and develop a motivated, skilled, and accountable workforce through coaching, mentoring, and clear communication., • Partner with HR to reduce turnover and strengthen engagement through recognition, empowerment, and continuous learning., • Model and promote the company’s Core Values: Customer Focus, Talent, Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity., • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with corporate goals and growth plans., • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and capital investment planning for plant operations., • 10–15 years of progressive manufacturing leadership, including heavy manufacturing or machinery workshop experience., • Demonstrated success in turning around or scaling manufacturing performance (delivery, quality, safety, and retention)., • Proven ability to build agile, high-performing teams and make fast, data-driven decisions., • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; MBA preferred., • Strong background in lean manufacturing, ISO 9001, and OSHA compliance., • Solid mechanical and technical aptitude, with hands-on familiarity with industrial equipment and fabrication., • Excellent communication, leadership, and prioritization skills., • Proficiency in ERP systems, data analytics, and digital manufacturing tools.
