Location: Cincinnati, OH Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote) Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Designer specializing in cold-weather accessories (gloves and headwear) to join our Corporate Design team. The Designer will play a key role in bringing fresh, innovative ideas to life by combining research, collaboration, and detailed technical execution to create standout designs for our brands. Essential Job Functions: • Stay informed about current design trends, industry influences, and competitor activity., • Create trend boards and collateral materials for internal use, licensors, and customer presentations., • Develop new materials and constructions specific to the assigned brands., • Collaborate with licensors, merchandising, sales, and design teams to communicate and present ideas effectively., • Design collections that align with brand direction, market needs, and company initiatives., • Oversee the design process from initial research through to technical development and market presentation., • Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for factory partners., • Manage the product design lifecycle, including preparing tech packs, sample requests, PLM system updates, and factory communications., • Meet project goals while maintaining attention to detail, tracking progress, and anticipating challenges., • Ensure deadlines on the design calendar are met., • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) with a minimum of 3 years of experience., • Familiarity with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite., • Experience with web-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus., • Knowledge of 3D software/printing is a plus., • Prior design experience in soft goods accessories, apparel design, or hard goods, • Strong understanding of raw materials, sourcing, and designing within target costs., • Domestic and international travel (25%-30%) is required; prior overseas travel experience is a plus., • Excellent communication and presentation skills., • Creative and innovative, with the ability to contribute unique ideas., • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Merchandising, Sales, Packaging, and Sourcing teams., • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment., • Open to direction and constructive feedback., • Competitive base salary., • Hybrid work schedule., • Three weeks of paid time off within the first year of employment., • Company provided life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and paid parental leave., • Health, vision, and dental insurance options with low employee contributions., • Commuter benefit plan., • Optional supplemental life insurance, pet insurance, and accident & critical illness insurance offered at a group discount rate., • 401(k)., • Unlimited access to our award-winning online fitness, and wellness program.
