Job Description Job Title: Assistant Director of Peer and Recovery Services Reports To: Senior Director of Peer and Recovery Services Program: Primary: WRN-I/E, MOT, Peer Training Secondary: SCC, WRN Location: White Plains, NY and Rockland, NY Hours Per Week: 40 FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 annually Summary Description: The Assistant Director of Peer and Recovery Services will oversee the daily operation of the Mobile Outreach Team (MOT), Westchester Recovery Network Recovery Programs Intensive/Enhanced (WRN-I/E), and Peer Training and provide coverage and support for Sterling Community Center (SCC) and Westchester Recovery Network (WRN). They will support recovery by providing services that reflect our deeply held values, including the recognition of individual rights of self-determination, choice, shared decision-making, and collaboration. The Assistant Director is a member of a Peer professional team that utilizes an evidence-based style of Peer Support along with Interventions that are strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered. Key Responsibilities: • Provide supervision, guidance and development for program Recovery staff from MOT, WRN-I/E, and the Peer Training., • Oversee daily operations for MOT, WRN-I/E, and the Peer Training., • Ensure contract requirements are met for MOT, WRN-I/E, and the Peer Training., • Provide coverage for direct support staff in MOT, WRN-I/E, and the Peer Training, including providing support when staff are out of the office and covering a support list when the program is short., • Collaborate with Senior Director to collect and report key data for MOT, WRN-I/E and the Peer Training., • Oversee daily operation and long-term development/planning for Friendly Visitors and the Warmline, including overseeing visits staff, ensuring contract compliance, and ensuring appropriate warmline coverage. Includes covering for warmline as required., • Facilitate check-ins and meetings as appropriate for MOT, WRN-I/E and the Peer Training., • Develop and approve curriculum for the Peer Training. Key Competencies: • Experience providing Peer and Recovery Services., • Strong administrative and organizational skills., • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Familiarity with and ability to use an Electronic Health Record system., • Experienced and Skilled Supervisor for Peer Professional Staff. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Programs under supervision will meet their required contract metrics, including, • Unique individuals served in supervised programs, • Time from referral to opening in supervised programs, • Number of services provided supervised programs, • Bachelor’s Degree + 3 years providing professional peer support, or an associate’s degree and 5+ years providing Peer Professional Services, or a high school diploma and 7+ years’ experience., • CRPA and/or NYCPS and/or PSP required, multiple certifications preferred., • Experience supervising peer professional staff strongly preferred., • Lived experience of recovery is strongly preferred; those with PSP certification and experience supervising Peer professional staff will be considered as well., • Strong computer knowledge: typing, communication tools, scheduling tool,s and web browsers., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems., • Fluency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)., • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record that is satisfactory to our insurance carrier., • Maintain New York State Defensive Driving certification within 30 days of hire., • Must be cleared and maintain clearance by applicable regulatory clearances as required., • Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Special Considerations: • The role will require regular travel and periodic fieldwork between Rockland and Westchester., • Hours per week, reporting structure, and location are subject to change per program needs.
