Job DescriptionEssential Functions • Operates computer terminals to record data from source documents into computer files., • Transcribes information from source documents into complex codes for entry into computer, utilizing one or more reference manuals., • Sets up, adjusts and operates printers, bursters, optic scanners and related peripheral equipment. Examines source documents for completeness and format; returns to source originator for corrections and clarifications., • Accesses computer files in response to requests; may disseminate information or printed reports., • Revises or deletes data and existing files and records with proper authorization., • Performs and promotes all activities in compliance with equal employment and nondiscrimination policies; follows federal laws, state laws, school board's policies and the professional standards.Maximum Salary78218.00Minimum Salary50911.00Desired Qualifications, • High School graduate or equivalent., • Two years of operation of or computer terminals for data entry experience., • Skilled in the operation of computer terminals, printers and related peripheral equipment., • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in handling sensitive or confidential material., • Ability to type or stroke with a high degree of speed and accuracy., • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others., • Attention to detail; proof own work., • Completed online application, • Resume that clearly demonstrates the above minimum qualifications.
