American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Portland, Oregon. • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT, OBMI, BLS, ACLS certifications and advanced EP lab and ablation experience. • Work in a cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab setting, • Adult patient population with a focus on EP ablations and device placements, • Role involves both circulating and scrubbing for EP ablations and device implants, • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, • Weeknight and weekend call required, typically one night per week and one weekend per month, • May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed, • Epic EMR experience required, • Primary responsibilities include operating fluoroscopy, monitoring and scrubbing procedures, and supporting unit projects and equipment management, • Responsible for pulling supplies, setting up scrub tables, draping patients, scrubbing with MD for venous/arterial access, and supporting generator device changes, • May be cross-trained to support additional EP or structural heart procedures, • Modules completed pre-start and tracked via transcripts, • Return staff must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler, • Must list any requested time off with submission, no more than 2 weeks allowed, • Accepts local candidates at the same rate, • Scrub attire required as per hospital policy, • Current ARRT credential and Oregon OBMI license required, • Active BLS and ACLS certifications required, • Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience, with at least 1 year specifically in EP, • Experience circulating and scrubbing EP ablations is required, • References from two supervisors within the last 24 months required; if only one available, the second must be within 3-5 years, • COVID-19 vaccination proof required, • No background or license issues accepted, • Physical ability to assist with procedures and patient positioning, • PALS and pediatric experience preferred but not required, • License required if applicable, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy, • Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-642038.
