Deeply committed to human dignity and patient rights, CHS is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals system and is a key partner in the City’s efforts to reform the criminal-legal system. Our in-jail clinical services include medical, nursing, and mental health care; pharmacy services; substance-use treatment; social work; dental and vision care; discharge planning; and reentry support. Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Benemed Physician PC/ Zambito Heart Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff. Your primary role will be to assist physicians and nurses in delivering quality healthcare services to our patients. You will be responsible for performing various clinical and administrative tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, collecting specimens, and maintaining medical records. Your contribution will be critical in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
