Aeternitas is in an early growth phase. Patient volume will ramp gradually through 2026, with expanding responsibilities and continuity as the practice grows. About the Role As a Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist at Aeternitas, you will play a critical role in ensuring that in-clinic care runs smoothly, safely, and calmlyparticularly during comprehensive diagnostic visits. This role combinesexcellent phlebotomy skills, strong clinical support capabilities, and a concierge-level approach to patient experience. You will be responsible for blood draws, vital signs, and other clinical support tasks, while also helping coordinate patient flow, room setup, and transitions throughout the clinic. You are often the first and last person a patient interacts with, and your professionalism, composure, and attention to detail directly shape their experience. What You Will Do & How You Will Spend Your Time Phlebotomy & Clinical Support (40%) • Perform blood draws safely, confidently, and efficiently, including difficult sticks and anxious patients., • Handle specimens, labeling, and processing with accuracy and professionalism., • Collect vital signs and perform EKGs according to clinic protocols., • Support clinicians during in-clinic visits as appropriate within scope. Diagnostic Visit Operations & Patient Flow (30%) • Help guide patients through in-clinic diagnostics and transitions between testing areas., • Ensure rooms are prepared, equipment is ready, and patients understand what to expect next., • Maintain a calm, organized environment and anticipate patient comfort needs throughout the visit. Clinic Operations & Readiness (20%) • Manage inventory and supplies, including restocking and flagging upcoming needs., • Support basic equipment readiness and maintenance routines (training provided)., • Assist with room turnover, setup, and overall clinic presentation standards. Documentation & Continuous Improvement (10%) • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with clinic standards., • Contribute feedback to improve workflows, patient experience, and operational consistency., • Support the refinement of checklists, protocols, and daily routines as the practice evolves. Experience & Skills Required • Proven phlebotomy experience this is a requirement, • Prior experience working directly with patients in a clinical setting, • Strong professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail, • Ability to remain calm, composed, and personable in a high-touch environment Preferred • Medical Assistant experience, • National phlebotomy certification (or willingness to obtain promptly), • Experience in medical clinics, outpatient specialty clinics, or hospitality-forward environments, • Comfort working in a growing practice where responsibilities evolve over time Who Thrives in This Role Were looking for someone who takes pride in doing the fundamentals exceptionally well and understands that details matterespecially in a premium clinical environment. Compensation: • This role is part-time initially, with hours and responsibilities expected to expand as patient volume grows., • Hourly Rate: $22$25 per hour, • Full-Time Equivalent Salary: Approximately $46,000$52,000 annually at 40 hours/week During the early growth phase, this role is expected to average approximately 20 hours per week, with a minimum level of scheduled hours discussed and confirmed during the hiring process.
