Ecommerce Photographer Reports to: Head of Development Location: In-person Schedule: Project based; Around 20 - 30 hours a week Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and peak retail seasons FLSA: Non-Exempt, Hourly About The Refind: The Refind is a luxury resale company redefining how people shop and sell online. We curate and resell the most coveted closets around the world through our Instagram Live Shows. About the Role: We're looking for a talented, detail-oriented Ecommerce Photographer to join our marketing and live show team. You'll produce high-quality product imagery that drives online sales, maintains brand consistency, and elevates the customer shopping experience across our digital platforms — primarily our website. You'll partner closely with stylists, the marketing lead, and live show producers to deliver compelling visuals for our website, social media, and promotional campaigns. Key Responsibilities Photography & Production • Plan, set up, and execute product photography shoots in a studio environment, • Shoot flat lay, pack shot, ghost mannequin, lifestyle, and on-model imagery as required, • Operate and maintain professional lighting equipment, backdrops, and props, • Ensure consistent framing, color accuracy, and styling across all product categories, • Collaborate with stylists and key decision makers to achieve creative briefs Post-Production & Editing • Retouch and color-correct images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, • Remove backgrounds, composite images, and prepare files to platform specifications, • Deliver final assets in required formats and resolutions for web, print, and social media, • Maintain organized file management and naming conventions Workflow & Collaboration • Manage high-volume shoot schedules efficiently, meeting daily output targets, • Coordinate sample tracking and ensure products are returned in good condition, • Communicate proactively with key decision makers on timelines and creative direction, • Contribute to continuous improvement of studio processes and workflows Experience • 2+ years of experience in product or ecommerce photography, • Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless camera systems (Canon, Nikon, Sony), • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom, • Solid understanding of studio lighting — strobes, continuous lighting, diffusion, • Demonstrated ability to produce high-volume work without compromising quality, • A portfolio showcasing clean, commercial product photography, • Excellent eye for detail, color, and composition Skills and Abilities: • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset, • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-output environment, • Team player who takes creative direction positively, • Passion for photography, ecommerce, and visual storytelling, • Genuine passion for fashion and luxury resale The Refind offers competitive hourly compensation of $28-$40 commensurate with experience and industry standards for the Seattle market.
