Job DescriptionImmediately hiring Industrial Maintenance Techs for a large manufacturing plant on the southside of San Antonio. As the Maintenance Technician for the facility, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems. Pay is up to $25/hr. depending on experience 12HR PM: 615pm – 630am on 3day/4day rotationWeek 1: Monday, Thursday, FridayWeek 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday Industrial Maintenance Tech Duties: • Focus on machine maintenance to include performing preventative maintenance and repairing equipment as well as contributing to automation and controls maintenance projects as a critical member of the Maintenance Department, • Plan, perform, and execute line maintenance activities and communicate changes impacting the plant and production., • Plant maintenance to install, maintain and repair complex electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems such large molding press, robots, assembly fixtures, drill fixtures, paint/finish, equipment, conveyors, and general plant facility type of equipment, • Installs electronic-automation type equipment and control systems, • Trouble shoots, repairs, and maintains electronic controls, hydraulic system, pneumatic systems, controls, and mechanical equipment, • Lead and support maintenance team during production line stop or major intervention., • Contribute to or complete the installation and training on new machinery., • Perform preventative and repair equipment on production equipment, • Start machines and equipment to test operation during and following repair., • Document preventative maintenance tasks, complete work orders, and answer maintenance calls in a timely manner., • Work with other departments on root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to help drive efficiency and yield, • Work directly with machine operators and production supervisors to resolve mechanical issues that arise during production., • Complete tool changes, blade changes, belt change out and repairs, • Maintain and repair injection molding machinery/equipment, • Conduct preventative maintenance regularly, • Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, sensors, relays, VFDs, and PLC-controlled systems, • Wire, build, and modify electrical control panels according to schematics and engineering drawings, • Inspect, test, and replace transformers, breakers, fuses, and wiring harnesses, • Run hydraulic hoses, repair leaks as necessary and run electrical conduit throughout production floor, • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder logic, • Testing systems using multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, and other electrical diagnostic tools, • Perform post-repair audits to ensure safety features are functional, • Contribute to automation and controls maintenance projects as a critical member of the Maintenance Department, • Perform calibration, parameter adjustments, and software backups on CNC controllers and HMIs, • Collaborate with automation engineers to install and commission new CNC and robotic systems, • Diagnose issues with CNC machine control systems including Pilot Bench Machine, Ellis Drill Press, Allen-Bradley, and similar machinery/platforms.Requirements:, • Seeking a minimum of 3 years of experience performing diverse maintenance in a manufacturing environment., • Experience with pneumatic change outs, hydraulic, and electrical components, • Automation controls and robotics experience is preferred, • Understanding of molding and powerhouse equipment, • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals., • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs, • Ability to document maintenance logs and write electrical maintenance reports, • Proven experience with mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, conveyors, and pumps, • Must be able to read and interpret technical and electrical blueprints/drawings, • Proficient in use of multimeters, meggers, and oscilloscopes, • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities throughout plant #vipstaffing#zrsat
