We’re looking for a Preschool Teacher who can bring curriculum to life through play, routines, and responsive teaching — while building strong partnerships with families. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a Preschool Teacher who: • Is passionate about early childhood education and understands the importance of the preschool years (ages 3–5), • Knows how to implement curriculum in a play-based, intentional, and meaningful way, • Values routines, structure, and developmental milestones, • Supports children’s social-emotional growth alongside early academic skills, • Partners with families to celebrate growth and navigate challenges together As a Preschool Teacher at LCCA, you will: • Create a safe, nurturing classroom where children feel confident, connected, and supported, • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons aligned with curriculum goals, • Support early literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and problem-solving through hands-on experiences, • Observe, document, and reflect on children’s growth, milestones, and daily routines, • Maintain open, respectful communication with families through daily reports and conversations, • Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements, including supervision, handwashing, and meal routines, • Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to ensure consistency and classroom coverage, • Must be at least 18 years old, • High school diploma or GED required, • CPR/First Aid Certification (to be obtained within the first two weeks of employment), • Texas Food Handler’s Card (to be obtained within the first two weeks of employment), • Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred but not required., • Ability to lift and carry children, kneel, sit at eye level, and stay active throughout the day, • A supportive, joyful team that values laughter, collaboration, and growth, • A Four-Star Texas Rising Star certified center committed to quality and best practices, • Ongoing mentorship and meaningful professional development opportunities, • Leadership that prioritizes kindness, communication, and teacher support Company DescriptionLCCA Child Care Center provides licensed, clean, and safe child care centers with highly qualified staff, for the families of Texas. We also offer a wide variety of extracurricular classes that are included and integrated into learning each day such as, Spanish Language, and Montessori Method Math. Our philosophy is to provide a safe and secure environment while providing children with a fun, exciting, and entertaining place to visit. We strive to make each visit a new and positive experience, where children learn new skills, play with new toys, participate in group games and circle time activities, create art projects, and interact socially with other children.
