QUICK FACTS Position 1: • Location: South Madison ED5 - 3201 Latham Drive, Madison, WI, • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Part Year*, • Location: South Madison Float- 3201 Latham Drive, Madison, WI, • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Full Year, • Location: South Madison Float - 3201 Latham Drive, Madison, WI, • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Part Year*, • Pay: $18.91-19.21/hour (based on education) Position 5: • Location: Red Arrow ED1 - 2096 Red Arrow Trail, Madison, WI, • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Part Year*, • Pay: $18.91-19.21/hour (based on education) *Part Year includes built-in summer break, 2 weeks winter break, and spring break WHAT WE OFFER Comprehensive Benefits • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Generous Paid Time Off & Holidays, • 403(b) Retirement with Employer Match (after 2 years), • Company-Paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability, • Flexible Spending Accounts, • Collaborative partnership with experienced classroom teachers, • Flexible scheduling to meet program needs, • Comprehensive professional development: ongoing coaching, paid continuing education, and credential support Basic Requirements (All Positions) • Age: Minimum 18 years old, • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any field required Preschool Teacher Aide II Requirements * Preschool Credential OR Child Development Associate Credential OR * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in any field plus completion of Intro to Child Care Profession (or equivalent ECE course) * Preschool Teacher Aide III Requirements * Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education OR * Related Associate's or Bachelor's degree with practicum and assessments providing unique enrichment (music, art, intervention therapy) with minimum 18 ECE credits • Experience: Working with children ages 3-5, preferably in licensed childcare setting, • Certifications: Adult, Child, and Infant CPR within 6 months; basic first aid knowledge, • Professional Competencies: Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, flexibility for varying schedules As a Preschool Teacher Aide, you'll partner with the Classroom Teacher to: • Develop and implement activities that promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, • Support programming for children ages 3-5 in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards, • Ensure compliance with Wisconsin Child Care Licensing, City of Madison Accreditation, and Wisconsin YoungStar standards, • Build positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community members, • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment, • Support multicultural and diverse learning experiences, • Assist with daily classroom routines and specialized programming At Reach Dane, we're reimagining early childhood education as a powerful tool for social transformation.
