Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances, • Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and schematics, • Inspect plumbing systems to identify and repair issues related to leaks, clogs, or inefficiencies, • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand and power tools, • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems, • Collaborate with other construction professionals such as electricians, HVAC technicians, and general contractors, • Maintain compliance with all Illinois Plumbing Code and local ordinances, • Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation as required, • Respond to emergency calls for plumbing issues outside regular business hours, as needed, • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
