Job Title Power Platform Developer Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions that automate and modernize business processes. This role focuses on developing low-code applications, workflows, analytics, and virtual agents that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and user experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with business problem-solving capabilities and enjoys collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, configure, test, deploy, and maintain solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Power Virtual Agents., • Develop reusable components, workflows, and frameworks to digitize and automate manual or inefficient business processes., • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions., • Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX and M, integrating data from multiple sources with varying structures and permissions., • Document technical designs, solution architectures, release notes, and other artifacts to support development, security, operations, and long-term maintenance., • Collaborate iteratively with internal teams, customers, and third-party partners during development, testing, and quality assurance., • Deploy solutions into production environments and provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements as needed., • Contribute to platform governance by helping establish standards, best practices, and operating models for Power Platform solutions., • Analyze data, interpret results, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., • Estimate project scope and level of effort, track progress, and communicate timelines and completion status., • Build and maintain virtual agents to support users with common or repeatable tasks., • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices; participate in communities of practice and mentor team members as appropriate., • Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Qualifications, • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience., • Several years of professional experience in application development, solution development, or a related technical role., • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Power Virtual Agents., • Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow design, and solution architecture., • Experience creating data models and analytical reports using Power BI, DAX, and/or M., • Ability to work on basic to moderately complex programming or automation tasks., • General understanding of APIs, client-server architecture, networking concepts, file transfer protocols, and system integrations., • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and key themes from disparate data sources., • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders., • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in environments with evolving requirements and priorities.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills, • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, .NET, C#, Java, R, or Visual Basic., • Experience with automation, systems integration, or data analytics projects., • Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts., • Experience working with other low-code or no-code platforms. This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $73.33/hr.
