Position Overview: The OSP PM is responsible for leading the successful execution of OSP Fiber Network projects across multiple markets, including Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Florida, and Texas. This role provides strategic oversight throughout the entire Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) project lifecycle, managing all aspects from field verification and staking to ROW jurisdiction & permits, high-level design, construction, closeouts, stakeholder updates, and client relationship management. The PM ensures technical design development and accuracy, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and alignment with organizational objectives while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering timely stakeholder updates. Acting as a key leader, the PM drives planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities • Effectively manage the complexities of a telecommunications project and ensure its success while building strong relationships with both clients & stakeholders and driving business growth., • Develop and maintain project plans to track critical path tasks, dependencies, and requirements throughout the project lifecycle., • Coordinate, monitor, and consult on fiber construction activities to ensure projects are built as designed and products are installed within guidelines & procedures., • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress & quality, conducting risk assessments, incorporating contingency plans, and managing issue resolution, as necessary., • Identify gaps in project delivery – time, cost, resources, deliverables- and proactively escalates when appropriate., • Coordinate with the Residents and Inspectors for timing, execution, and closeout of all FTTH Projects., • Manages the project team and ensures members have the resources and support needed to complete their tasks. This involves delegating tasks, providing guidance and direction, and monitoring team progress., • Ensure the project deliverables meet quality standards. This involves conducting quality checks, managing quality assurance processes, and addressing quality issues., • Provide regular status reports to clients and stakeholders. This includes reporting project progress, identifying risks and roadblocks, and updates regarding project deliverables., • Communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project, including status updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations., • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in engineering or professional Engineer (PE, EIT) certification preferred., • Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex OSP FTTH design projects, including telecommunications infrastructure, fiber optics, project management, budgeting, resource allocation, and process controls., • Proven expertise in business analysis, budget management, stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, process improvement, and quality assurance., • Knowledge of aerial, buried, and underground fiber construction methods and RUS construction standards., • Proficient in designing cable schematics and construction prints., • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams) and experienced with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and GIS platforms., • High level of professionalism, integrity, and adaptability in fast-paced environments., • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with active listening and interpretation abilities., • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing project requirements., • Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses., • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k))., • Generous PTO and travel support., • Ongoing professional development and educational opportunities.
