As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the design of our consumer app and internal tools, combining user research, a strategic mindset, and design skills across both UX and Visual to deliver stellar customer experiences. You are not only a craft expert across UX and visual design, but also a strategic partner who helps shape what we build and why. You bring a strong point of view grounded in research and data, and you are comfortable navigating ambiguity to define product direction. You translate insights into actionable design strategies, aligning user needs with business goals. You advocate for the customer at every stage, ensuring that design decisions are intentional, scalable, and impactful. This role is fully in-person and based out of our Brooklyn, NY office. We're looking for a Production Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen, raise the bar on quality and food safety, and build systems that allow us to increase production without sacrificing craftsmanship. We currently operate out of a shared kitchen space and we're not a restaurant. The Role You will own day-to-day kitchen leadership, production execution, and operational excellence. You will turn recipes into repeatable systems, elevate standards, and scale output while protecting product integrity. You will report directly to the Founder. What You’ll Own 1. Kitchen Leadership • Lead, train, and schedule kitchen crew, • Build a culture of accountability, precision, and urgency, • Develop clear SOPs for fillings, dough, assembly, proofing, and baking, • Ensure consistent crimping, portioning, and finishing standards 2. Three shifts are available at the Brooklyn Navy Yard: • Night shift, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM, • Morning shift, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM, • Swing shift, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Duties & Responsibilities: • Accept tasks from the Engineering Supervisor and plans/implements execution., • Successfully and safely perform all diesel engine maintenance onboard vessels up to, and including, engine overhauls, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance work., • Ensure all aspects of safety during task execution., • Issue company power tools to technicians to accomplish designated tasks. Ensure tools are returned before the end of the shift., • Ensure company warranty procedures are followed., • Ensure all shift paperwork is correctly completed and submitted., • Important vessel information is communicated to other supervisors and the chain of command., • Seek the highest levels of quality and professionalism., • Use of approved Hazmat required for Paints, Solvents & Cleaning Agents., • Perform cleaning and custodial tasks of the vessels and property, including maintenance and construction tasks as assigned and minor engineering repairs and rounds as directed., • Work to achieve the highest levels of performance and productivity., • Assist the Port Engineer in ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations., • Assist the Port Engineer in ensuring the vessel is always in an inspection-ready condition., • Assist with filling water, bunkering fuel, connecting and disconnecting shore power as directed., • Additional job duties as assigned. Interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex repairs involving diesel engines, powertrain components, and automotive electrical systems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of ADAS technology, air brake systems, and diesel engine repair techniques. Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting. Mechanical expertise across vehicle maintenance including transmissions, alignments, suspension systems, and auto body repair. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive electrical systems. Ability to perform oil changes efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is advantageous.
