The department is known for clinical excellence, collaboration, and a strong culture of innovation—where technologists are encouraged to speak up and help shape process improvements.Recent program initiatives have significantly reduced door-to-device times for stroke patients, exceeding national benchmarks and reinforcing the team's commitment to outstanding outcomes.Role OverviewInterventional Technologists are essential members of four-person procedural teams within the Cardiac/Vascular Lab (CVL). In addition to operating advanced fluoroscopy systems, technologists are trained to support a broad range of complex interventional tools and techniques across multiple specialties.This role is well suited for professionals who are clinically curious, technically strong, and motivated to grow within the rapidly evolving field of percutaneous interventional care.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidates must demonstrate the ability to perform the following responsibilities to be considered for interview:, • Deliver high-quality cardiovascular and radiologic care under direct physician supervision, • Assist with a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures, • Safely operate imaging and interventional equipment, including advanced fluoroscopy systems, • Support procedures utilizing technologies such as:, • Intravascular imaging (Philips IVUS, Abbott OCT), • Atherectomy platforms (Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Laser), • Thrombectomy systems (Penumbra, AngioJet, Inari), • Circulate and assist throughout procedures to ensure efficiency and patient safety, • Monitor radiation exposure and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards, • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams, • Perform additional duties as needed to support patient care and departmental operationsRequired QualificationsAll candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:, • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, • ARRT National Certification upon hire, • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart AssociationPreferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)Candidates meeting the following criteria will receive priority consideration:, • 1+ year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab, • Experience supporting high-acuity interventional or neuro/stroke procedures, • Demonstrated interest in professional growth within interventional radiology, • Strong teamwork skills and a calm, focused presence in high-pressure environmentsWhy This Role Stands Out, • Work across multiple interventional specialties in a single role, • Be part of a high-performing program that actively exceeds national benchmarks, • Access to advanced technology and ongoing training opportunities, • Supportive culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
