Job DescriptionKey Personnel is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in the Tulsa, OK area Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Location: Tulsa, OK Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (One day per week will be an admin day-only see patients 4 days a week) Pay Range: $64.00 – $68.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-time – Direct HirePosition Summary The Nurse Practitioner will deliver high-quality patient care, promote health maintenance, and support the mission of providing healthcare for all individuals in a discrimination-free environment. Nurse Practitioner Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Assist in developing and maintaining clinical practice guidelines., • Participate in provider and medical care team meetings., • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the local and regional medical community., • Conduct patient interviews, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations., • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests; prescribe appropriate medications and treatments., • Provide continuity of care for patients with chronic or long-term conditions., • Make referrals for secondary and tertiary care as needed., • Perform medical procedures within the defined scope of practice., • Conduct health maintenance visits, evaluate immunization status, and provide patient education., • Perform physicals for programs such as EPSDT, Head Start, and employment screenings., • Provide STD and family planning education and screenings., • Accurately document and code all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)., • Participate actively in clinical team functions and quality review processes., • Support Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives and serve as a clinical liaison when needed., • Knowledge of adult learning principles and community health resources., • Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills., • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities., • Ability to work effectively and professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds., • Demonstrated ability to function independently while maintaining sound judgment and initiative., • Flexibility to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and teamwork., • Must understand that safety is a condition of employment and report unsafe acts or conditions., • Computer literacy with ability to use EHR systems and compile reports., • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently., • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program., • Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)., • Competitive salary, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off, • Tuition assistance, • Employee discounts
