Job Description Earthborne, Inc. is an authorized distributor for JCB, Rayco, Morbark, and other construction and forestry equipment lines in Eastern United States providing top quality products and services since 1976. Have you ever wanted to travel more while doing what you love? Due to an increase in business, Earthborne is seeking Traveling Field Service Technicians. Our main office is located in Warrington PA, but these positions will be ninety-nine percent traveling to other locations (generally out-of-state for days / weeks at a time) to fulfill job requirements. Your training will be provided one on one in the field with a senior technician. Each machine is sold with a 5 year maintenance contract, • Travel to field sites to fulfill job requirements, • Build relationships with customers, • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance, • Train operators on proper daily and periodic machine care, and operation of their machines, • Repair machines as needed, • Be the ‘face’ of Earthborne to our valued customers, • Service/maintain regular customers in accordance with long term service contracts. Most machines are seen four times a year, • Customer service experience, • 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment or similar, • Experience working on tree care of forestry equipment is preferred, • Strong diagnostic skills, • Be willing to travel 3 weeks out of every month, • Good communications skills, • Competent with hand, air, and electrical tools, • Ability to consistently repair components and equipment in line with manufacturer's standards, • Must be self-motivated and trustworthy, • Ability to work independently and handle responsibility to make field decisions, • Certified manufacturer training or willingness to complete company sponsored certification is a plus, but not required, • Own basic tools for equipment repair, • Efficiency in Microsoft Office (word/excel) is required, • Must have a good driving record.
