YOUR ROLE At Crossmedia, analytics isn't simply about reporting results—it's about helping clients make smarter business decisions. We are seeking a collaborative, strategic, and intellectually curious Director, Data Analytics to join Redbox, Crossmedia's analytics and business intelligence practice. Redbox partners with clients and internal media teams to transform complex data into meaningful insights that shape marketing strategy, optimize investment decisions, and drive measurable business outcomes. As a senior leader, you will partner closely with the Group Director to guide the team's strategic direction while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. You'll lead complex analytics engagements, oversee measurement strategies, mentor a talented team, and help evolve Crossmedia's data and analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate combines analytical expertise with exceptional storytelling, client leadership, and a passion for developing people. RESPONSIBILITIESClient Strategy & Analytics Leadership • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, helping define business objectives, audience strategies, measurement frameworks, investment scenarios, and optimization opportunities., • Lead client discussions around marketing effectiveness, measurement strategy, forecasting, budget allocation, audience insights, and media performance., • Translate complex analytical findings into compelling, actionable stories that influence client decision-making., • Present confidently to senior client stakeholders, simplifying sophisticated analytical concepts into clear business recommendations., • Build trusted client relationships grounded in expertise, partnership, and consultative problem solving., • Stay ahead of evolving measurement methodologies, privacy changes, AI applications, and industry trends, advising clients on emerging best practices.Analytics & Measurement Excellence, • Lead development of advanced reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights., • Partner with media planning and investment teams to evaluate historical performance, optimize channel investments, and improve marketing effectiveness., • Guide measurement initiatives including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution, incrementality testing, experimentation, audience measurement, forecasting, and other advanced analytics approaches., • Help shape and expand Crossmedia's analytics products, methodologies, and innovation roadmap., • Champion data quality, analytical rigor, and high standards across all client deliverables.Leadership & Team Development, • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team by providing coaching, feedback, and career development., • Manage project prioritization, team workload, and resource allocation across multiple clients and initiatives., • Foster collaboration across Redbox and cross-functional teams including Planning, Investment, Ad Operations, Strategy, and Technology., • Identify project risks early, communicate proactively with senior leadership, and ensure successful project delivery., • Lead formal and informal training initiatives that elevate analytics capabilities across the organization., • Contribute to performance evaluations, employee development, and continuous process improvements.Innovation & Continuous Learning, • Continuously explore emerging tools, technologies, AI solutions, and analytical methodologies that strengthen client solutions., • Encourage experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the team., • Contribute to thought leadership, internal training, and development of new agency capabilities.SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE, • Clients view you as a trusted business partner rather than simply an analytics resource., • Analytics recommendations directly influence media strategy and business decisions., • Your team consistently delivers thoughtful, accurate, and visually compelling work., • Junior team members grow through your coaching and mentorship., • Cross-functional teams actively seek your expertise., • You contribute to Crossmedia's collaborative culture while helping advance the agency's analytics capabilities.QUALIFICATIONS, • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline; Master's degree is a plus., • 5-7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, media analytics, business intelligence, or marketing science within a media agency, consultancy, or related environment., • Deep understanding of media measurement across traditional, digital, retail, commerce, and emerging media channels., • Experience developing measurement strategies, optimization frameworks, experimentation roadmaps, and test-and-learn programs., • Familiarity with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution methodologies, incrementality testing, and marketing measurement best practices., • Experience working with data visualization and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools., • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is preferred but not required; the ability to translate technical outputs into strategic business recommendations is essential., • Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and communication skills with experience presenting to senior client stakeholders., • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities, teams, and client engagements simultaneously., • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams., • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring others and fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture. Salary range is $125k - $150k. Commensurate with experience. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications, certifications, tenure in the industry, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
