Job DescriptionPosition Overview The Retail Supervisor plays an important leadership role in Wally’s retail operations by guiding inventory team members and ensuring the retail floor remains fully stocked, organized, and guest-ready. This role helps coordinate daily retail activities, supports merchandising and inventory processes, and reinforces Wally’s standards for product presentation and guest service. The Retail Supervisor serves as a key link between management and team members, helping maintain strong communication, accountability, and smooth day-to-day operations. Benefits at Wally’s Wally’s team members enjoy a strong benefits package including: • 401(k) with 5% company match, • Company-paid medical plan option, • Dental and Vision coverage, • Company-paid Life Insurance, • Paid Time Off (PTO), • Short-Term Disability (STD), • Long-Term Disability (LTD), • AD&D coverage, • Health Savings Account (HSA), • Lead, coach, and mentor retail team members to support strong performance, • Communicate daily priorities and updates from store leadership, • Assign tasks including stocking, product rotation, and merchandising, • Support onboarding and training of new team members using Wally’s training programs, • Ensure shelves are consistently stocked, organized, and properly labeled, • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management, • Oversee receiving, unpacking, and backstock organization, • Ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) product rotation, • Assist with merchandising resets, seasonal displays, and promotional setups, • Maintain high standards of product presentation and cleanliness throughout the retail floor, • Ensure team members provide friendly, professional service to all guests, • Step in to assist with guest questions or concerns when needed, • Reinforce Wally’s safety procedures when handling inventory and equipment, • Conduct regular checks of stockrooms and aisles to maintain safe work areas, • Serve as a key point of communication between team members and store leadership, • High school diploma or GED preferred, • 1–2 years of retail or inventory experience preferred, • Previous experience supervising or leading small teams preferred, • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, • Strong communication and organizational skills, • Basic math and inventory handling skills, • Experience using POS systems or retail technology preferred, • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, • Frequently lift up to 10 pounds, • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Team members may also bend, reach, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in stockroom environments as needed.
