What You’ll Do: The Box Truck Driver/Material Handler is responsible for safe and efficient transportation, loading, unloading, and handling of donated goods to and from retail stores, donation centers, and warehouses. This role plays a key part in supporting daily logistics and inventory movement for a mission-driven retail operation. Job Type: Full-time, Hourly Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour Shift: • 8-hour shift, scheduled for 40-hours per week, • Operate box truck to transport donated goods between donation centers, retail stores, warehouses, and recycling partners., • Load and unload goods using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or by hand as required., • Ensure proper securing of cargo and adherence to weight limits., • Inspect vehicles before and after use to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues., • Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the warehouse and loading docks., • Follow scheduled routes and maintain communication with dispatch and retail locations., • Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and any incidents., • Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with donors, store staff, and the public., • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and DOT standards.
