The Batching Department blends prepared and purchased raw materials and delivers bulk products to the Packaging Department. What You’ll Do: • Assist in setting up the Ingredient Prep. and Batching areas, • Prepare raw materials for processing, including de-casing, inspecting, washing, size reducing and portioning., • Prepare, properly label, and stage raw materials for downstream processes., • Safely operate process equipment with supervision including wash tanks, product conveyors, drum/tote unloaders, size reduction equipment, pumps, buggy dumpers and mixing systems., • Assist with general sanitation activities, including breakdown of various equipment following product changeovers and at the end of the production shift., • Work as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient production.
