Job Description Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Technician for an 8 month contract opportunity in Anaheim, CA. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Understanding of applicable health and safety regulations and industrial standards and practices such as NFPA, DOT, ANSI, OSHA, etc., • Proficient computer skills and MS Office., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks., • Familiarity with handling confidential information and maintaining data privacy., • Effective communication and collaboration skills., • Proficiency with spreadsheets (excel) for tracking. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide Preventative & Reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds., • Limited Preventative & Reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment., • Routine Inspections of Fire Safety Systems., • Routing Inspections of Facility and Grounds., • Basic Carpentry and maintenance of facility physical structure., • Coordinating with vendors on contracted work., • Basic trouble shooting/repairs on Electrical, Plumbing, walls & floors., • Utilizing ladders and lifts. REQUIRED EDUCATION: • Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience. WORK HOURS: • Full-Time, • 9/80 work schedule, • 1st Shift Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check.
