This role is pivotal in driving the company’s financial strategy and ensuring alignment with our overarching vision, operational objectives, and investor expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, strategy, and management, coupled with an understanding of the manufacturing industry. This is a high-impact role that requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities: • Drive the company’s financial strategy by developing and executing long-term financial plans, • Serve as a key advisor to the executive team on financial decisions and business strategy, • Act as the primary financial liaison to the Board of Directors, investment fund representatives, and external stakeholders, • Prepare and present board materials, financial reports, and performance updates, • Support investor inquiries, financial due diligence, and periodic evaluations related to reinvestment, divestment, or recapitalization, • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, • Manage short and long-term cash flow, working capital optimization, and capital structure, • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements following GAAP and internal standards, • Play a key role in evaluating and executing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or divestitures, • Identify and mitigate financial risks and enforce strong internal control systems and financial policies, • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, • Oversee financial systems and tools to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and integration with HRIS, procurement, and operational platforms, • Collaborate with leaders across HR, operations, sales, and supply chain to align financial planning with business strategy, • Support company-wide strategic initiatives by modeling various business scenarios, assessing risks, and advising on the financial implications of new projects, partnerships, or market expansions, • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred, • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the agriculture or food processing industry, • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, and valuation modeling, • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams, • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights, • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience, • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with experience in digital transformation initiatives a plus.
