We are seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain Finance to provide financial leadership across Welch's Supply Chain and Finance teams. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and partners closely with the Chief Supply Chain Officer. You will lead the Supply Chain Finance team, oversee forecasting and analysis, manage budgets and capital investments, and provide strategic insights across manufacturing, logistics, sourcing, and co-manufacturing. What You'll Do • Drive and execute financial leadership for the supply chain, identifying key drivers of cost and performance trends., • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, explaining KPIs and variances with clear insights., • Lead the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting, including development of standard costs across plants (BOMs, labor, overhead)., • Support the development of the cross functional strategic planning process for Supply Chain, • Manage cost accounting, PPV, and financial impact of manufacturing variances., • Partner across Finance and Supply Chain to:, • Align with Strategic & Commercial Finance on drivers across all sales channels., • Build business cases for innovation, capital investments, and new customer opportunities., • Actively partner with Strategic & Commercial Finance, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning to drive and continuously improve the S&OP process., • Enable data driven decision making through transparent reporting and timely executive and BOD level analysis, • Ensure strong GAAP compliance through strong partnerships with Accounting., • Ensure strong financial controls within Supply Chain., • Partner with Cost Accounting and Operations to understand period close and provide detailed reporting and insights., • Drive ad hoc analysis for results driven recommendations to the CFO, CSCO, and Executive Leadership Team., • Develop deep collaborative relationships with the Supply Chain Leadership Team to support effective and efficient cross-functional work, information flow and problem solving, • Partner cross-functionally to develop a productivity pipeline and track KPIs around delivery of initiatives, • Lead and direct resources and team members to complete thorough strategic analysis of supply chain and operations results to identify and drive outcomes for Key Performance Indicators, • Partner with the CFO on long-term grape harvest and inventory strategies with cooperative owners., • Define the future state of Supply Chain Finance by driving automation, improving processes, and strengthening controls., • Recruit, retain, and develop top finance talent; create opportunities for cross-training and career growth., • Partner with IT to support ERP implementation, ensuring process readiness, operational and financial reporting, adoption and organizational change management., • Identify risks and opportunities for contingency planning., • Strategic thinker who can move seamlessly between detail and big-picture priorities., • Action oriented, self-starter who can drive strategy while also being hands-on to manage day-to-day tactical activities. Ability to collaborate and partner with all levels of an organization., • Seasoned CPG leader, with manufacturing, logistics and broad knowledge of end-to-end supply chain finance, • Action-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement., • Strong communicator who builds trust, fosters collaboration, and elevates others., • Skilled problem solver who balances strategic and tactical thinking., • Experienced people-leader who builds and develops high-performing teams with clear goals and accountability., • Financial leader with strong analytical skills and executive presence; understands best in class finance practices and stays current on industry knowledge and trends., • 15+ years of experience in high volume CPG manufacturing cost/managerial accounting., • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred., • Experience leading finance teams with demonstrated success in talent development., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels., • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, reporting, and metrics., • Experience leading financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Travel up to 10% to plant locations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
