Job DescriptionJob Title: ADE - WA (Field Sales Representative – Delivery Partner Recruitment) Job Description This role offers an exciting opportunity to help launch a new local delivery partner program by recruiting small and medium-sized businesses in the Tacoma and surrounding markets. You will work in the field to identify and engage prospective business partners, present the program benefits, qualify leads, and guide businesses through the application process. Partnering closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, you will also support community-based recruitment events and manage your pipeline using Salesforce and other tools. The position involves regular local travel and offers uncapped commission based on successful partner conversions. Responsibilities • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately one hour driving distance from the core market., • Present and pitch the new delivery partner program to local businesses and generate interest in applying., • Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step by step through the application process., • Lead and track sales activity, maintain an organized pipeline, and update prospect and partner information in Salesforce., • Import Excel spreadsheets and enter weekly activity and performance data into Salesforce and related systems., • Collaborate closely with the Field Manager and other local team members to plan and execute recruitment events such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings., • Coordinate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals., • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping them resolve issues that arise during the application and onboarding process., • Build and nurture community partnerships with small businesses to support long-term program success., • Maintain a high sense of urgency in following up with leads, moving qualified businesses through the funnel, and achieving conversion goals., • Travel daily within a radius of up to approximately two hours round trip to visit prospects, attend meetings, and support events.Essential Skills, • At least 2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service., • Proven outside or field sales experience., • Hands-on experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; Salesforce experience is preferred and strongly valued., • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively with business owners and decision-makers., • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly., • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, track activities, and maintain accurate records in CRM tools., • High level of professionalism, reliability, and a strong sense of urgency in driving results., • Attention to detail with the ability to identify and solve problems for applicants in the field., • Tech-savvy, with experience working across multiple systems, spreadsheets, and technology platforms., • Ability to travel up to approximately two hours round trip daily within the assigned territory.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior experience in roles that involved direct sales and/or negotiation with customers is a strong plus., • Experience in field sales, business development, or outside sales in local communities is highly beneficial., • Comfort presenting program information in both one-on-one and small-group settings such as community meetings or lunch-and-learns., • Ability to collaborate effectively with a Field Manager, peers, and community partners to achieve shared goals., • Enthusiasm for working with small businesses and building long-term community partnerships., • Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently in the field.Work Environment This is a field-based role supporting the Tacoma, Washington market, with additional support for a delivery station in Bremerton, Washington. You will spend much of your time traveling locally to visit businesses in person, typically within up to two hours round trip, and attending community events and meetings. The work involves regular use of Salesforce and other CRM tools, as well as Excel and various technology platforms to manage data and track performance. The position offers uncapped commission opportunities tied to partner conversion milestones, reimbursement for mileage, and a monthly phone expense allowance. After a successful six-month performance review, you become eligible for paid time off. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lakewood, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $29.00/hr.
