Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. Job Summary: Corporate Accounting Manager leads the day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate, timely month‑end close, high‑quality financial reporting, and strong internal controls. This role manages and develops the accounting team, serves as a subject matter expert for complex accounting matters, and oversees compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. As a key business partner, the manager collaborates closely with Treasury, FP&A, and Operations, supports audits and tax compliance, and drives process improvements, system enhancements, and scalable accounting practices to support the company’s growth. Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management, • Review work performed by staff, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines, • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong internal controls, • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex accounting issues, • Oversee and manage the month-end close process across multiple entities, • Review and approve journal entries, including accruals, allocations, and recurring entries, • Oversee preparation and review of:, • Prepaid expenses and amortization schedules, • Fixed assets, including capitalization and depreciation, • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations, • Inventory accounting processes and entries, • Lease accounting (ROU assets and liabilities), • Ensure timely opening and closing of accounting periods, • Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements across entities, • Review internal reporting packages, including balance sheet and income statement analyses, • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards, • Support internal and external financial reporting requirements, • Oversee intercompany accounting processes, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled, • Manage intercompany invoicing, tracking, and dispute resolution, • Support foreign currency (FX) accounting and consolidation processes, • Ensure completeness and accuracy of intracompany and sensitive financial data, • Provide oversight and backup support for treasury functions, including:, • Reviewing accounts payable disbursements, • Approving wire transfers, • Partner with Treasury to enhance and standardize cash forecasting processes, • Review cash forecast workpapers and identify opportunities for improvement, • Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits across multiple entities, • Oversee preparation and review of audit support (PBC) documentation, • Ensure timely and accurate completion of audit deliverables, • Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, • Partner with FP&A to support budgeting and forecasting processes, • Review balance sheet forecasts and ensure alignment with financial reporting, • Provide insights into variances and key drivers impacting financial results, • Act as a system owner/super user for FloQast, managing workflows and user oversight, • Lead or support ERP implementations and system enhancements, • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, • Drive standardization and scalability across accounting operations, • Oversee preparation of annual tax workpapers and support tax compliance requirements, • Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and audit support, • 3+ years of leadership/managerial experience, including reviewing work and developing team members, • Experience working with ERP systems and account reconciliation tools, • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, • Proven ability to manage multiple entities and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment, • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS Preferred Qualifications: • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and audit support, • CPA designation, • Public accounting or audit background, • Experience in multi‑entity and/or multinational accounting environments, • Exposure to foreign currency (FX) accounting, intercompany activity, and consolidations, • Experience supporting or leading system implementations and process improvement initiatives, • Construction or project‑based accounting experience, • Proven track record of building, mentoring, and developing high‑performing accounting teams Physical Demands: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. • Must be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers;
