Job Summary I am seeking a talented and creative remote Freelance Designer to collaborate with me on completing my project, 'The Best of the Last'. I’m looking for someone with strong technical and design expertise—particularly in typography, layout, and visual composition—who can help bring my vision to life while contributing fresh ideas. 'The Best of the Last’ is a satirical reimagination of a classic American high school yearbook- a fictional NYC school yearbook brought to life through my photography, design, and collages. It serves as both a platform for social commentary and a reflection on the NYC high school experience. Like a traditional yearbook, it includes 140 senior portraits of young people from across the city, along with 45 faculty and staff members. A 20-person school safety team highlights the overbearing NYPD presence I experienced while attending middle and high school in Brooklyn. Spanning 100 pages, the book includes superlatives, a current events section, clubs, and more.
