Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Analyst to join our procurement team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting procurement operations while partnering closely with Legal, Budgeting, and internal stakeholders. Candidates must be able to pass an FBI background check. Key Responsibilities • Analyze procurement activities to identify strategic sourcing opportunities that drive cost savings and improve supplier leverage, • Manage end-to-end procurement of materials and services supporting agency operations, • Identify and evaluate new suppliers to support cost reduction and operational efficiency goals, • Develop and issue RFI/RFPs, evaluate responses, and lead vendor selection processes, • Negotiate terms, finalize agreements, and oversee contract awards and execution, • Partner with Procurement, Legal, and Contracts teams to ensure agreements minimize risk and liability, • Administer and manage supplier relationships and ongoing contract performance, • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements, develop statements of work (SOWs), and establish performance metrics, • Support procurement strategy development for complex projects and initiatives, • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, • Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree, • Preferred fields: Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related, • 2–5+ years of procurement experience, • Experience in public or private sector procurement, • Strong understanding of purchasing methods and procedures, strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and operational teams, • Ability to obtain and maintain a procurement certification upon hire Preferred Qualifications • Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), • Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), • Other nationally recognized procurement certifications Dexian is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
