The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and utilities while ensuring adherence to GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements. The technician works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS teams to maintain facility readiness and minimize downtime. • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility and utility systems in a GMP-regulated environment., • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems supporting pharmaceutical operations., • Support maintenance of critical utilities, such as compressed air, purified water systems, and cleanroom infrastructure., • Execute work orders in accordance with approved SOPs, maintenance plans, and safety procedures., • Document all maintenance activities accurately and in compliance with GMP and data integrity requirements., • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility modifications., • Support inspections, audits, and regulatory readiness activities., • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and service work., • Identify maintenance issues, recommend improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives., • Comply with EHS policies. Requirements • Technical Certification or associate degree in relevant trade., • 3–5 years of facilities or maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment., • Strong working knowledge of GMP/cGMP principles and regulated facility requirements., • Experience maintaining facility systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing) in a manufacturing setting., • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and SOPs., • Familiarity with CMMS systems for maintenance tracking and documentation., • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team., • Must be authorized to work in the U.S., • No C2C at this time. Adhering to the requirements of California's law on salary transparency, the salary bracket for this role is set between $75,000 - $95,000 annually. The salary offered may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
