Olathe, part of the Kansas City metropolitan area, is an excellent location for healthcare professionals seeking rewarding RN jobs in Kansas. • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1750 - $1870, • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract, • Location: Olathe, Kansas 66061 (Kansas City metro area), • Unit: Cardiac Telemetry (Unit 2E), • Facility Size: 300-bed acute care hospital, • Start Date: November 2, 2025, • End Date: February 1, 2026, • Contract Duration: 13 weeks, • Hours per Week: 36 (full-time nursing job), • Shift: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15), • Weekend Rotation: Required, • On-call: None, • Holiday Requirements: Must work one day from each major holiday grouping (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), • Floating: May float to all acute care units, • Orientation: Comprehensive orientation provided, including Epic EMR training, • Active Kansas RN license (Registered Nurse), • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred), • Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience, • Experience with TR Bands post-procedure, cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process, • Epic EMR experience preferred, • Ability to float to other acute care units as needed, • Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills, • Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition, • Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and manage post-procedure TR Bands, • Initiate and monitor Tikosyn/Sotalol therapy per protocol, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, • Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR, • Provide compassionate patient care and education to patients and families, • Float to other acute care units as required GHR Healthcare Job ID #421299.
