We're a small, fast-moving team in DUMBO, Brooklyn, and we need someone senior who can own our visual storytelling end-to-end. We're hiring a Content Strategist at The Renatural. The Role This is a Content Strategist position where strategy comes first, but production capability is essential. We need someone who can walk into our office, understand where The Renatural is going as a brand, and immediately start building the visual narrative that gets us there. You'll lead creative direction across social, web, campaigns, partnerships, and activations. You'll set the vision, then you'll execute it, either by shooting and editing content yourself, or by hiring and managing the team that does. This isn't a role where you brief external agencies and walk away. You're hands-on. You're on set. You're in the edit. You're making sure every piece of content reflects the luxury, innovation, and intention that defines this brand. What You'll Do • Lead creative direction for brand storytelling across all touchpoints: social, product launches, partnerships, community initiatives, • Develop and own the content calendar with strategic consistency and timely execution, • Produce and manage all visual content end-to-end: short-form social (Reels, TikToks), long-form video, website assets, ad creative, campaign content, • Brief, direct, and execute photoshoots and video content; edit and publish when needed, • Oversee social media strategy and community engagement (in partnership with our Community Manager), • Drive brand partnerships and ensure seamless execution of co-branded content, • Design and activate in-person experiences: pop-ups, activations, events, • Manage creative budgets, timelines, and vendors, • Track performance and iterate based on what's actually working Bonus if you have a graphic design background and can handle design assets in addition to photo/video production. This role covers multiple areas by design. Each responsibility feeds into the others, giving you the opportunity to shape the brand holistically. Who You Are • 5–8+ years in content, brand, or creative strategy, ideally in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle, • You can concept, write, produce, and direct content. The Hiring Process We're accepting applications through December 1st and scheduling interviews immediately. Here's what to expect: Round 1: Video Interview with Director of Brand Marketing (December 1-5) Initial conversation to discuss your experience, portfolio, and approach to content strategy. We'll walk through examples of your work and talk about what you'd bring to The Renatural. Round 2: In-Person Interview with Brand Marketing (December 8-12) Deeper dive into your process, how you think about luxury brand storytelling, and how you'd approach our specific challenges and opportunities. Round 3: In-Person Interview with CEO and Founder (December 8-12) Meet our leadership team, understand the vision for the brand, and discuss how this role fits into our growth trajectory. Round 4: Paid Audition (December 15-23) Finalists only. This is required to be considered for the role. You'll be hired to produce one instructional video for our site: either head measurement, wig installation, or sample kit guide. You'll receive a project fee, production budget for models/location/crew, and one week to deliver from brief to final cut. We'll be on set with you to ensure brand alignment, but this is your project to own. How you approach the creative strategy, manage production, and deliver the final product will determine whether we move forward. These are real videos we need for our site. If you nail it, you get the job and the content goes live. If you don't, you still get paid for your time.
