Advocacy and Representation: Advocate for excellence in patient care and represent nursing on various committees. Recruitment and Development: Oversee recruitment and development of nurse leaders, accountable for staff satisfaction. What You’ll Bring? Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree completed or in progress in applied clinical field. Ph.D., DNP, PhD, DNSc, or ND preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Nursing at supervisory or managerial level, with project management and process improvement experience. Strong preference for candidates who have worked within a unionized environment. Must have strong data analysis, reporting and writing skills. Regulatory Expertise: Experience with Joint Commission, CMS, patient safety, and compliance initiatives. Leadership Proficiency: Effective leadership, communication and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to persuade and present recommendations tactfully. Strong financial acumen, cultural transformation experience, ability to manage union dynamics. Strong coaching and mentoring skills. Magnet designated facility leadership experience preferred.
