You will need to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licensing before beginning employment. Throughout your work day you will perform activities such as answering calls, taking payments, making policy changes, and creating conversation with our existing clients, finding unrecognized needs and offering appropriate products to solve those needs. You are a problem-solver. You must be willing to get personal with people about life and finances. You must be willing to ask about life insurance. Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health licenses are required for this position and must be obtained prior to starting. If you do not currently possess licensing, the process will take between 2-6 weeks of full time studying and multiple state exams. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed., • Propose new lines of insurance including life insurance and disability insurance to new and existing customers., • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification., • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and make appropriate recommendations for other lines of insurance., • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business., • Dedicated to customer service, • Cheerful disposition, • Understanding the nature of a professional work environment, • Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs., • Excellent communication skills to assist customers and coordinate with other agency team members, • Proactive in problem-solving, • You are committed to your team and will support them tirelessly, • Salary pay plus commission/bonus, • Growth potential/Opportunity for advancement within my office, • Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days), • Health benefits, • Valuable career-building experience
