This role is responsible for all Dispensary Associate duties while also overseeing daily administrative and supervisory functions.Key Holders help drive and inspire the storefront team, maintain strict inventory controls, and ensure regulatory compliance in a highly regulated environment.This position reports directly to the Assistant Dispensary Manager (ADM) and Store Manager. This is a full-time leadership position requiring availability to work a flexible and rotating schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Set or fixed schedules are not available for this role.The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, solutions-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced setting where priorities shift and new challenges arise daily.Key Responsibilities • Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays; set schedules are not available for this role., • Act as shift supervisor, ensuring smooth daily dispensary operations, • Perform all Dispensary Associate duties, including reception, register/drawer, and fulfillment shifts, • Greet patients, verify credentials, and maintain patient flow, • Coordinate and oversee opening and closing procedures in accordance with SOPs, • Support timely and accurate transactions at the point of service, • Maintain compliance with all state regulations and company policies, • Coordinate inventory tasks, assist with counts, and monitor product organization, • Assist with employee shift coordination and communication during assigned shifts, • Ensure strict adherence to cash handling procedures and drawer accountability, • This candidate should be able to follow directions on opening and closing procedures, as well as take direction from their management team, • Address and escalate operational concerns to management as needed, • Support fulfillment of in-store, call-ahead, and online orders, • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready environment, • Lead by example in delivering exceptional patient serviceRequired Qualifications, • Experience in retail leadership, shift supervision, or similar management roles, • Strong customer service background, • Cash handling experience with high accuracy, • Working knowledge of medical marijuana products and their potential benefits, • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, • Strong communication and leadership skills, • Ability to follow structured procedures while remaining solution-oriented, • Flexibility to work opening, closing, weekends, and holidaysWhat You Bring, • Leadership, • Positive, solutions-based mindset, • Ability to inspire and support team members, • Confidence in making operational decisions within scope, • Accountability, • Strong ownership of store procedures and compliance, • Attention to detail in cash handling and inventory, • Reliability in opening and closing processes, • Adaptability, • Comfortable balancing associate-level tasks with supervisory duties, • Calm under pressure, • Strong time management and organizational skillsBonus If You Have, • Previous medical marijuana industry experience, • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments, • Strong inventory management knowledge
