Job DescriptionUX Content Writer • Title: UX Content Writer (Intermediate), • Location: Remote, with preference for candidates near Allentown, PA; Louisville, KY; or Providence, RI, • Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract Key Responsibilities • Write, edit, and optimize customer facing UX copy supporting self service transactions across web, mobile apps, email, SMS, chatbots, and digital assistants, • Create short, concise, transactional microcopy such as form guidance, confirmations, errors, notifications, and instructional text rather than long form or CMS driven content, • Translate complex service, policy, and system information into clear, customer friendly language for high volume self service use, • Ensure consistent voice, tone, terminology, and messaging across channels and across multiple operating companies, • Maintain and evolve content standards, templates, and governed content systems, • Partner closely with UX designers and service designers to support end to end customer flows and decision points, • Participate in Agile workflows including backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and iterative delivery, • Use UX research, testing, analytics, and data insights to refine transactional content and improve customer outcomes, • 4 to 8 years of experience as a UX Content Writer, UX Copywriter, Content Designer, or Content Strategist working on digital product experiences, • Demonstrated experience writing customer facing, transactional UX content such as microcopy, self service flows, notifications, confirmations, and instructional prompts across web and mobile platforms, • Proven ability to support self service customer journeys rather than internal documentation or CMS page publishing, • Experience mapping and standardizing existing content across multiple business units, brands, or operating companies, • Strong background working in enterprise environments with governed, reviewed, and standardized content, • Ability to work alongside UX designers and service designers, contributing to flows and user journeys rather than only reacting to finalized designs, • Experience using UX research, testing, data, or analytics to inform content decisions such as usability findings, clarity testing, or performance metrics, • Strong organizational skills with a focus on consistency, clarity, and scalability across large content ecosystems, • Experience working in a regulated industry such as utilities, energy, financial services, healthcare, or telecom, • Familiarity with Figma for reviewing designs and collaborating with UX teams, • Experience using Excel or Airtable to manage content inventories, audits, or mapping exercises, • Exposure to chatbot or digital assistant content Why Should I Apply?
