Job Description Position Title: Intern, Marketing and Programming FLSA: Nonexempt/ Part-Time Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site) Rate: $18.42/hourly Duration: 6/8/2026 – 8/21/2026 Company Overview: CJ ENM (Entertainment & Media) is the leader in entertainment and commerce in Asia and the #1 premium content powerhouse in Korea, with a growing global footprint. CJ ENM operates businesses across multiple sectors of entertainment, including content, music and live experiences with key business segments in Media Platform (linear channels & OTT platform “TVING"), TV & Film (premium production studios in Studio Dragon, CJ ENM Studios, & FIFTH SEASON), music (original artists, content, distribution platforms, and live event), and commerce. CJ ENM also operates KCON, the largest Korean pop culture fan convention and concert series, which launched in LA as a one-day event in 2012 and has exponentially scaled over a decade to become a global event that has expanded from Los Angeles to New York and across the world to destinations like Japan, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Paris. CJ ENM has played a key role in not only leading Korea’s culture and content in entertainment for the past 25 years, but also continues to grow the expansion of Korean entertainment globally. Position Overview: CJ ENM America is currently seeking motivated and creative interns to join the Music Business team for Summer 2026 focused on (but not limited to) KCON LA, the world’s largest K-pop Fan and Artist Festival, with a strong desire to learn about entertainment and media, marketing, and events. Interns will be given the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the creative process - from event marketing, sponsorship and sales, brand activations, guest and talent communications, and event programming. The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent (Canva, Figma, etc.), creative writing, communication, and time management, along with a strong passion for K-pop and K-culture. This is a paid part time internship up to 30 hours max per week that is located in-office in Culver City (no hybrid or remote). Responsibilities: • Research and identify potential sponsors/partners that align with KCON LA’s brand and audience., • Partake in brainstorms for sponsorship, partnership, and influencer activations for KCON LA and other CJ ENM America initiatives., • Support the team on account management as well as the overall operational processes of sponsors’ convention needs., • Maintain accurate records and databases of potential and confirmed partners., • Help develop marketing materials, pitch decks, and sales collateral., • Assist with community management and marketing efforts across social, web, CRM (email and SMS), and emerging platforms., • Create engaging content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, and X)., • Attend meetings and take thorough notes to document sponsorship/partnership deliverables., • Develop weekly internal newsletters and trend reports in pop culture across entertainment, music, fashion, technology, marketing, partnerships, and K-pop/K-culture., • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and execute on-site sponsor activations and branded experiences at KCON LA., • Track and compile recap reports documenting partnership activations and ROI metrics post-event., • Collaborate with the Music Business team to assist in event programming and talent communications., • Conduct research and outreach to influencers, coordinate guest bookings, engage with fan clubs, and aid in booking arrangements., • Accompany guests and support organizing event schedules to ensure smooth operations., • Assist in research on workshop materials, influencers, and content to enhance the overall event programming and guest experience., • Create presentation decks, event recap decks, and other materials as assigned., • Assist with onsite event tasks including credential checks, guest attendance, and hospitality needs for special guests., • Collaborate with the team on business development ideation, brainstorming new event concepts, opportunities, and strategies to expand CJ ENM USA’s brand and presence within the industry., • Take on additional projects and tasks as required to support the success of the event. Requirements: • Must be currently enrolled in a college/university with at least one active class during the semester/quarter prior to the internship, OR a recent graduate (within the last six months)., • Must be at least 18 years of age., • Must have unrestricted work authorization., • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Google, Dropbox, Adobe, etc.)., • Ability to work under tight deadlines while paying attention to important details., • Strong multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects., • Ability to thrive in high-stress, high-volume situations while maintaining organization and focus., • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, and strong motivation., • Passionate about K-pop and Korean entertainment, with strong interest in the industry is highly preferred., • Strong knowledge and interest in social trends, content, talent, and influencers is highly preferred., • Prior experience in entertainment (concerts, conventions, music, film) is highly preferred., • Prior programming and planning experience (college clubs, internships, volunteer work) is highly preferred., • Fluency in Korean is not a requirement, but a plus.
