Job Description Job Title: Concrete Laborer Job Description Join our team as a Concrete Tech where you will work closely with a concrete crew assisting with concrete forms and small concrete pours. You will play a crucial role in setting up and tearing down concrete forms and performing light demolition work. This role requires daily use of various hand tools, including power drills, tape measures, hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws for cutting materials prior to framing. The job offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop different skills in the construction industry. Responsibilities • Assist with setting up and tearing down concrete forms., • Perform light demolition work as required., • Utilize all types of hand tools, including power drills and tape measures., • Operate hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws to cut materials., • 1+ years of experience in concrete work., • Experience in commercial construction is a plus. Work Environment You will be part of a small team of 2-5 people working on a construction job site. The standard working hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential for 45-50 hours during the summer months. Be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. A relaxed dress code is in place, making it comfortable for you to work effectively in the elements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
