Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is a great fit for an accounting professional earlier in their career who thrives in the details — owning reconciliations, digging into data, and delivering clean, accurate financials as part of a collaborative Finance team. This role is heavily data-focused with a focus on our month-end close process, Inventory/ COGS reconciliation, marketplace and retail revenue reconciliations, and deliver financial insights that support data-driven decision-making across the business. What You’ll Do • Own end-to-end reconciliations for inventory, COGS, and marketplace and retail revenue — resolving variances, tracing discrepancies to root cause, and maintaining clear, audit-ready documentation, • Work with raw data exports from marketplace and inventory systems — cleaning, transforming, and analyzing large files in Excel to validate COGS accuracy, identify cost trends, and surface discrepancies, • Serve as a data liaison between Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of inputs that flow into revenue and inventory reporting, • Assist with month-end close process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives, • Identify and drive process improvements, including automation of repetitive Excel workflows and reporting, • Build ad-hoc data analyses and financial models for senior leadership, • Support external audits by preparing reconciliation schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries, • Perform general ledger entries and bookkeeping in NetSuite, maintaining data integrity across accounts What You'll Bring, • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, • 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience required; CPA candidate or public accounting background a plus; e-commerce or retail experience a plus, • Strong understanding of US GAAP and ability to interpret and apply accounting guidance, • Experience with inventory and/or revenue recognition preferred, • Must have NetSuite Experience, • Leverage tools such as Power BI and AI models to streamline processes and drive efficiency., • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc.), • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment — highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines while collaborating closely with teammates, • Data-curious mindset with a knack for spotting patterns, outliers, and resolving discrepancies in complex datasets, • Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, including a free medical option., • 401(k) with Company Match: Supporting your long-term financial wellness., • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO, holidays, and “Birthday Your Way” – take a day off during your birthday month., • Parental Leave: Paid time off for new parents., • Wellness Support: Mental health resources, free gym in our Norwalk office, and Employee Assistance Programs. ✔ Flexible Work Arrangement, • Hybrid schedule with three in-office days (Monday–Wednesday)., • Remote Flex Weeks: Two fully remote weeks per year—one in July and the second is the week between Christmas and New Year. ✔ Perks That Matter, • Learning & Development: Professional development encouraged and opportunities provided annually., • Lifestyle Benefits: Commuter assistance, pet-friendly office, and wellness programs.
