This role provides care to adult patients recovering from orthopedic procedures and medical-surgical conditions. Nurses are expected to make independent clinical assessments, manage treatments autonomously, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify clinical needs. * Develop and implement individualized care plans. * Administer medications and treatments as ordered. * Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition. * Advocate for patient safety and quality care. * Educate patients and families regarding procedures, medications, and recovery expectations. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal outcomes. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Qualifications Required * Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license. * Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred * Acute care or orthopedic experience. * Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience considered. * ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire). * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
