Job Description Our organization is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to become part of our Women's and Infants service line. As the primary hospital system in the county, we have been dedicated to serving the residents of Tarrant County for over a century. Position Overview: • Focus on clinical responsibilities including ambulatory and hospital perinatal consultations and ultrasounds., • Participate in a 24-hour academic OB program., • Engage in resident education with expectations for academic and quality improvement research., • Maintain clinical and academic affiliations with the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) and Texas Christian University (TCU) as well as UNTHSC School of Medicine., • Share call coverage with colleagues., • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school., • Completion of residency and/or fellowship training in the specialty., • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine., • Preferred: 5 years of independent practice experience.Licensure and Certification:, • Current Texas Medical License., • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification., • Unrestricted DEA registration.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:, • Comfortable working in a large public/county facility., • Demonstrated knowledge in the assigned area, with competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis, and treatment processes., • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills., • Self-directed with the initiative to engage in community activities and medical outreach programs., • Ability to demonstrate patient-centered behavior., • Commitment to medical education, including teaching and training medical students, house staff, and fellows., • Dedication to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.Comprehensive Benefits:, • Generous paid time off., • Malpractice insurance coverage., • Health, vision, and dental insurance options., • Professional expense allowance., • Retirement plan.Essential Functions of the Role:, • Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical history, reports, and examination results., • Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other medical care to prevent or address illnesses, diseases, or injuries., • Order, perform, and interpret tests, analyzing records and reports to diagnose patient conditions., • Collaborate with a clinical team of technicians, advanced practice professionals, and other physicians in decision-making regarding tests, diagnoses, and treatment options., • Monitor patient conditions and progress, adjusting treatments as necessary., • May perform surgical or non-invasive procedures within the area of specialty.The Acclaim Big Four:, • Facilitate the right actions for patients., • Enhance community health in partnership with our patients., • Improve our effectiveness and operational margins.
