The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises. Job Summary To provide high-quality care to all patients. To assist in directing staff in the support of the care of our patients. We are seeking a Physician with experience in Occupational Medicine/Workers Compensation to provide evaluation and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in workers compensation guidelines, able to complete required documentation, and committed to delivering high-quality care while supporting safe return-to-work outcomes. Responsibilities • Provide high-quality patient care., • Manage all patient care while on shift, • Supervise all clinical staff while on shift, • Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion, • Process biological specimens when needed, • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, • Evaluate and treat patients with occupational injuries and illnesses, • Provide accurate medical documentation consistent with workers compensation requirements., • Coordinate with employers, case managers, and insurance representatives to support patient recovery and return to work., • Conduct pre-employment and return-to-work physicals as needed. Qualifications • Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ER or UC experience), • Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family, • Professional appearance and attitude, • Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required, • Ability to multi-task and work independently, • Current medical license and board certification (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine preferred)., • Prior experience in occupational health and/or workers compensation cases strongly preferred., • Strong communication and documentation skills.
