Senior Manager, Produce Analytics (Circana / Retail POS) Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid) Company: Martori Farms About Martori Farms Martori Farms is a fourth-generation, family-owned produce company and one of the largest melon growers and shippers in North America. We are building a best-in-class commercial analytics capability to support pricing, line reviews, and strategic decision-making across key customers, with an immediate focus on national retailers. Role Overview Martori Farms is seeking a Senior Manager, Produce Analytics to lead retail POS and syndicated data analysis (Circana / IRI) for fresh produce categories. This role will translate data into commercial decisions, supporting pricing strategy, line reviews, customer negotiations, and volume planning. This is not a dashboard-only role. The ideal candidate is comfortable sitting with Sales and Leadership, explaining what the data means, and recommending clear actions. Key Responsibilities Retail & Syndicated Data Analysis • Lead analysis of Circana / IRI POS data for fresh produce (melons and adjacent categories), • Analyze price, distribution, velocity, and share at national and regional levels, • Adjust analyses for in-stock variability, seasonality, and transition periods, • Support customer line reviews (especially Walmart) with concise, decision-oriented insights, • Partner with Sales to evaluate:, • price changes and EDLP strategies, • volume shifts and distribution changes, • promotional vs non-promotional performance (where applicable), • Design and maintain core pricing and performance views (not over-engineered dashboards), • Define best practices for using syndicated data in fresh produce, • Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Finance) to ensure insights are actionable Required Qualifications • 6–10+ years of experience in retail analytics, pricing, or commercial analytics, • Hands-on Circana / IRI experience (required), • Experience analyzing fresh produce or fresh perimeter categories, • Strong understanding of:, • price elasticity, • distribution vs velocity, • seasonality and supply transitions, • Ability to communicate insights clearly to sales leaders and retail customers, • Advanced Excel required; PowerPoint proficiency required, • SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools are a plus (but not required) Preferred Backgrounds • Produce or fresh food supplier (berries, melons, salads, fresh veg), • Circana / NielsenIQ consultant supporting grocery or fresh categories, • Retail analytics role at a major grocer or club retailer What Success Looks Like • Sales teams trust your recommendations, • Line reviews are tighter, clearer, and more data-driven, • Pricing discussions shift from reactive to proactive, • Leadership uses your work to make real commercial decisions Compensation & Location • Base salary: $140,000 – $170,000, • Bonus: Performance-based (target 10–20%), • Benefits: Competitive benefits package, • Work model: Hybrid (Scottsdale HQ), open to exceptional remote candidates with strong produce experience Why This Role Is Compelling • High visibility with senior leadership, • Direct impact on pricing and customer strategy, • Opportunity to build a fresh analytics capability the right way, • No “ivory tower” analytics — this role influences real decisions
