About the Role As an IT Field Technician, you’ll be on the frontlines of our restaurant technology, ensuring smooth and reliable operations across the company. From network installations to troubleshooting and major rollouts, you’ll be the go-to expert who keeps our stores connected and running efficiently. What You’ll Do • Install and maintain networking systems and infrastructure across multiple restaurant locations., • Provide Level 3 technical support and troubleshoot complex networking and hardware issues., • Run, reroute, terminate, and test network cables (Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics)., • Reroute or replace existing cabling as needed for new installations, relocations, or system upgrades., • Mount, configure, and install network hardware such as switches, access points, routers, and racks., • Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues related to cabling, devices, or restaurant IT equipment., • Perform network equipment setup for new store openings, remodels, and rollouts., • Maintain accurate documentation of cabling routes, equipment configurations, and inventory used., • Collaborate with the IT Director and other departments to support company-wide technology initiatives., • Ensure all work adheres to company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes., • Accurate, timely installations and store set-ups, • Quick, clear support for restaurant teams, • Reliable reporting and communication with leadership, • Strong understanding of structured cabling standards (EIA/TIA)., • Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and network schematics., • Skilled in using cable testers, tone generators, crimpers, and related hand tools., • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities., • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with restaurant teams., • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks., • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, quality, and reliability., • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed., • 95% Field-based – supporting restaurant operations (Car will be provided) Perks – Join the Cafua Management Family and Enjoy the Benefits!
